Our Story

More Than a Bike Shop.
A Movement.

"We ride for justice. We ride for joy. We ride for each other."

Founded in 2014 by Adé Neff — born in Haiti, raised in Boston, rooted in Leimert Park. The neighborhood hadn't seen a bike shop in over 30 years.

What started with a wrench and a belief that everyone deserves freedom of movement became South Central LA's first Black-owned full-service bike shop in a generation.

Featured in Beyoncé's Homecoming, HBO's Insecure, Jay-Z's "Entrepreneur."

What We Stand For

Our Values

Freedom of Movement

Everyone deserves to move through their city freely. We break down every barrier between our community and mobility.

Self-Reliance

We teach, we don't just fix. Our DIY culture empowers people to care for their bikes and themselves.

Radical Welcome

All ages, all backgrounds, all skill levels. If you have a bike or want one, you belong here.

Community First

We exist to serve South LA. Profits flow back into programs, equipment, and people.

Environmental Justice

Bikes are a climate solution. We make sustainable transportation accessible in the communities that need it most.

Cultural Roots

Rooted in the arts and culture of Leimert Park. Capoeira, DJ, art — bikes are just one part of who we are.
