About Ride On!

Ride On! Bike Shop & Co-Op is more than a bike shop — it’s a community-powered hub for mobility, access, and transformation.

Founded in 2014 in Mid-City Los Angeles, Ride On! was born from a belief that everyone deserves the freedom to move safely, affordably, and with dignity. What started as a grassroots project quickly grew into a trusted neighborhood institution, offering repairs, rentals, rides, and resources for riders of all backgrounds.

We are proudly Black-owned and rooted in the communities we serve. Over the past decade, we’ve expanded our work

into South LA with a second location and launched the South LA E-Bike Library, which provides free electric bike access to residents through partnerships with LADOT, LACI, CARB, and local organizations.

At Ride On!, we don’t just fix bikes — we build pathways to wellness, freedom, and connection. We offer hands-on workshops, host community rides, and meet people where they are — whether they’re first-time riders or lifelong commuters.

We ride for justice. We ride for joy. We ride for each other.
This is more than transportation — this is transformation.
